Theme

The "Unseen Currents" speaker lineup explored the intersection of environment, health, and innovation. Topics included the hidden connections between landscapes and wellness, how climate change exacerbates maternal health inequities, translating environmental data into large-scale art, developing regenerative materials, unlocking the power of microalgae, assessing waterway health through microbiology, and challenging hyperconsumerism with sustainable design.

Scope

Our team created a motion design treatment of the year’s brand and animated all show elements. We took the lovely Unseen Currents brand developed by our friends at Gatorworks and brought it to life through storyboarding, design and animation. The creative process centered on developing the visuals for the title sequence and motion package.

Concept

The title sequence reflected the idea that Unseen Currents are everywhere—in nature, utility grids, human chemistry, and the impact of our decisions. It acknowledged Earth as a vast, enduring organism while emphasizing that "Earth is not fragile, WE are," and that communities and the living systems that support human life on earth are what hang in the balance.

The sequence resolved with the message that ideas have the power to initiate new currents, asserting that every attendee was a powerful thinker and innovator with the power to integrate ideas that affect impact.
